Coming from the UAB area there are two routes:

  • take 6th Avenue South heading east. Take a right onto 37th Street, follow the curve in the road to the left, then immediately look for a two-story yellow brick building on the right. There’s a white sign close to the street that list the tenants of the building – you’ll see Birmingham Shambhala Center. Our entrance is at the rear of the building.
  • take University Avenue heading east past St. Vincent’s Hospital, which becomes Clairmont Avenue.  Continue on Clairmont to the stoplight at 38th Street.  Turn left; over the hill the road turns left and becomes 37th Street.  We’re the third building on the left, a two-story yellow brick building.  There’s a white sign close to the street that list the tenants of the building – you’ll see Birmingham Shambhala Center. Our entrance is at the rear of the building.
